Policies

Due to the amount of work involved in organizing a Book Tour, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the selected package is required at the time of sign-up. A-la-carte services (Twitter Parties, Facebook Contests) must be paid for in full at time of ordering. An invoice for the balance of the tour package will be issued once the tour schedule is completed and approved. 


RHP Accountability: We will endeavor to organize and schedule a successful Blog Tour. However, as with all things in life, things can happen. Should be we unable to complete your request, the remaining balance due will be waived. 


While we are unable to control the actual number of daily posts a hosting member may have on their blog, we do ask they keep tour posts or a link to it in a prominent position on their blog for ease of access to visitors. Should a blogger be unable to honor their commitment for their scheduled day, we will commit to finding a replacement or suitable alternative (on that day or one as close to it as possible, depending on availability.)


Author Accountability: Should you neglect your obligations (ie: timely delivery of posts/material to RHP or tour hosts), act rudely or in an offensive manner to Tour Hosts/visitors, the remainder of your tour will be cancelled and no refund issued. If you need to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us to discuss options for rescheduling. 

A Note Regarding Reviews

Reviews are not a mandatory or guaranteed feature in any Red Hot Promotions packages. Many bloggers have a backlog of review requests and, as such, it can be difficult to review a book within a given time frame.


Authors have the option to request reviews as part of their package, and to choose how many stops will be required to feature a review when choosing the types of stops included. Red Hot Promotions makes no guarantee that the number of reviews requested will be fulfilled. 


Review requests will necessitate the author forward the following to RHP: one (1) .pdf copy or Smashwords coupon of their title to RHP. We will then, in turn, distribute one (1) .pdf copy or Smashwords coupon of the title being promoted to each team member electing to host a review. 


N.B.: All hosting members are required to expressly agree to respect copyright laws and not distribute or share any title they may receive from Danielle as owner/operator of Red Hot Promotions. All materials are provided in exchange for an honest review. This does not guarantee a positive review, merely that the hosting member provide their honest opinion of the title provided. Each review posted reflects the opinion of the hosting member and does not in any way reflect the opinion of other reviewers, hosting members, or Danielle as owner/operator of Red Hot Promotions.
